-Haya (Tanzanian) proverb-
At the heart of rural communities are traditions and rituals that govern the way community members help others during times of joy such as marriage and birth and unforeseen circumstances such as death and illness.
This kind of support is natural and matter of fact and includes financial support even when the community is not financially well off.
With technology and urbanisation, the concept of community is evolving. With these changes those with dreams and desires of creating communities can visit and learn from the old traditional version of community.
